How Leah became a Trauma Recovery Coach

Becoming a Trademark Certified Holistic Trauma Recovery Coach chose me as it emerged out the darkness of a traumatic brain injury and a complex spinal surgery.

While healing from traumatic injuries which left me with a limited condition disability, I formulated and utilized The PURGE Box™️ to heal from trauma.

Over time listening to my somatic and a neuron-linguistic programs and journaling in my 30 Day Journal Series which is on Amazon and cleansing with an all natural PURGE ME WITH HYSSOP bath, body & personal care product line I formulated I was spiritually led to trademark my work.

While being obedient to the unction of the GREAT SPIRIT, without knowing exactly what a trademark was or how much it cost to file one or if my filing was going to be approved, I filed by faith. Two years later, I received  an International Trademark from the United States Patent & Trademark Office.

I had to FIRST address my CROWN chakra (way of thinking) hence the name of my LLC, FIRST & CROWN SOLUTIONS came into fruition. 

No University or Church Pastor could have prepared me for the HEALING journey I was about to embark upon while forced into retiring early because of my traumatic injuries.

My LLC, FIRST & CROWN SOLUTIONS developed over 90 days of meditating, fasting and taking intentional action steps forward with a new rhythm.

My life has not been the same since my traumatic injuries and the rest is history – Literally.

Scientific results prove that there is only a 0.1% difference between the genetic makeup of all human beings.  Which mean our behaviors are not only genetic, but generational. Thus the trauma amongst the black Diaspora is trans-generational.

However, the cognitive dissonance and post traumatic slave syndromes (patterns, habits and behaviors) caused by unhealed trauma (epigenetics) can be purged – if the person is willing to do the work.

Trans-Generational trauma loops can be exposed and dissolved when we are made conscious of what those behaviors are and how they’re showing up in our life today.

If every thing I’ve experienced throughout my journey was to prepare me for a time such as this then surely my work was not done in vain.

Throughout my life I’ve heard about the term “the cream rises to the top”. However, I never imagined that I would get a front row seat at what that looks like in reality.  Leah’s ancestors were the FIRST black men and women to establish the first AME Zion Church and Allegheny Conference, Black Dentistry in downtown Pittsburgh, founded the first YWCA chapter in Pittsburgh, residency as the first Juvenile Correction Behavior and Detention Center and establish Social Communities (light skinned societies) in Pittsburgh, PA.

My grandfather the Rt. Hon. Bishop Elijah Lovett Madison was born in 1877 and was not only the first Pastor of AME Zion John Wesley Center in Pittsburgh PA, but he was the first Bishop of the Allegheny Conference in Pennsylvania – black or white. Regardless of how great of a man he was, he was just a man and his amazing story did not come into fruition without a scandal.

My meek and beloved father was the product of rape. My swarthy grandmother was raped by the Bishop. She fled to her parents in the south in fear. When my grandmother gave birth to my father she left him in North Carolina to be raised on a farm by her migrant parents who were from Scotland and Bermuda.

My ancestors went to their graves without addressing the Allegheny Conference regarding the ravishing of my grandmother and the pillaging and plundering of the birth of the Bishop’s unclaimed son because of fear and limiting beliefs. That generational trauma was never repaired!

Since my uncle passed away in Nov 2018, I’ve had possession of historic artifacts that he and my grandmother collected including the obituary of the Bishop with the acknowledgement of my father and 7 grandchildren on the back of it.

My father was a humble, quiet yet great man of valor who was awarded the Victory Medal and a received a letter from President Harry Truman for his bravery and calm judgement during WWII in Pearl Harbor and it went unacknowledged by his and siblings. My father’s wife (my mother), their 6 children, 10 grand children and 6 great grandchildren are not a secret.

Judgement starts in the house of ELOHIM. The last shall be first and the first shall be last. Many are called but few are chosen. 

It took me until March 2024 to face the truth and overcome the fear of limiting beliefs and make a decision to contact the Museum about the catalogue. When I did the Museum Director came to my home and left out with over 100 years of my family’s Historic events to be exhibited.

I did not sell my birthright… I preserved it!

I purged inter-generational trauma and archived the Historic Events of my bloodline in the African American Department of the Senator John Heinz History Center and in the Smithsonian Museum as a courtesy and honor to my beloved father – forever.

I believe none of this would be possible without the guidance and grace of the most HIGH GREAT SPIRIT ABBA ELOHIM YHWH who have led me to purge with hyssop AND by the due diligence and prayers of my ancestors.
